About Steel Edging Company
Every edging material in one place, plus the tools to fit it. Delivered across Europe.
What we do
Most garden shops treat edging as an afterthought, one plastic roll stacked near the hose fittings. We treat it as the whole shop: five materials, plastic to corten steel, plus the tools that cut and fit the line.
We sell online only, direct across Europe. You measure the run, pick the material for the job, and we cut it and send it. A seven metre bed costs seven metres, not a ten metre kit with three metres wasted.
How we work
This is a DIY shop. Nothing here is installed for you: everything is meant to go in with ordinary garden tools, fitted by the person who bought it. That is also why the tools sit next to the edging instead of in a separate catalogue.
Prices are in euro and include everything you pay at checkout. Delivery is free across Europe on orders of €100 or more, and a flat €25 below that.
Not sure whether your job wants plastic or steel? Email us at theteam@steeledging.eu.com before you buy and we will help you work it out.
Choosing the right material
Plastic bends by hand and needs no trench, so it is the fastest fit and the easiest on a budget. Steel and corten want a spade line cut first, but they hold a thinner, cleaner edge. Height matters too: a 5 cm face keeps grass out of a bed, while a 10 cm or 20 cm face holds back a deeper mulch layer or a level change. Corten is meant to weather to a rust coloured finish, so buy it because you want that look, not by surprise.

Frequently asked questions
What materials do you sell garden edging in?
Five: flexible recycled plastic, corrugated metal, black steel, stainless steel and corten weathering steel. There are also per piece bed borders and a rubber mulch bed edging for jobs that do not need a full per metre run.
How do I choose between plastic and steel edging?
Plastic is the budget option and bends around curves by hand, with no trench needed. Steel and corten give a thinner, cleaner line, but you cut a spade line first before you fit them.
Do I have to buy a fixed roll, or can I order just the metres I need?
Just the metres you need. The per metre ranges come in standard interlocking sections, and there is no minimum order, so a seven metre bed means seven sections rather than a ten metre roll with three left over.
What does delivery cost?
Free across Europe on orders of €100 or more. Below that it is a flat €25, shown in your basket before you pay.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are handled and cut within 24 to 48 hours, then delivered in 5 to 7 days. Allow about a week in total.
Can I return edging if I order the wrong length?
Tools, accessories and per piece products carry the full 15 day right to change your mind. Per metre edging is cut to your order, so once it is cut it cannot be resold and the change of mind right does not apply to it. Email us before you order if you are not sure how many metres you need.
What happens if my order arrives faulty or damaged?
We put it right at no cost to you, with a repair, a replacement or a refund, and we pay the return postage. This applies to everything we sell, including edging cut to length.
How do I pay?
Credit and debit cards through Stripe, or PayPal. Both go through a secure checkout.
Is there a showroom I can visit?
No. We are an online only shop with no showroom and no installation service, which is part of why the prices stay where they are.
Who am I actually buying from?
The trading name, legal entity, company registration number and registered address are all in the company details on this page. Email us any time and a real person replies.
